Knifemaking Workshop

This past January, my shop was the host for the Houston Area Blacksmith's Association (HABA) annual knifemaking workshop. We featured simple 18th century trade knives. The rain didn't deter attendance. We had over 60 people there ages 8 to 80 who worked on or helped in the making of the primitive trade knives. The annual auction was a great success and brought in a good amount for the HABA coffers The food was generously donated by East Texas Forester Robert Scott and his weaver partner Della. If he's looking for the title of "Club Cook", he has my vote!
